Awesome but too short
Ashley Cooke delivered as expected, full force. I was a little disappointed, however, because they only played 13 songs with no encore. In a small venue like this, I had hoped that it would have felt more intimate. I am a die hard fan and would have liked to have heard a lot more. I was looking forward to Sully interacting more with the small crowd. I compared the setlist for this concert to others they played this year, and they are almost identical. They could mix it up a little or even take a request, it seemed. It was a great venue to see them in, with plenty of bars available and no lines. I flew out from DC just to experience the band by itself without a bunch of other bands in a festival setting. My advice: dump the warm up band and give the fans what they want: MORE Ashley Cooke!
